Our early careers opportunities
Graduates
For those completing, or who have completed, an undergraduate degree or diploma within the last two years. Graduates benefit from structured support including mentors, buddies, regular progress reviews, CPD sessions, role-relevant training and support towards professional membership.
Apprentices
Earn while you learn, gaining hands-on experience alongside a nationally recognised qualification. Open to all ages and backgrounds, our apprenticeships combine structured learning with on-the-job delivery, supported by mentors, buddies and regular reviews.
Industrial placements
Designed for students currently studying, industrial placements provide exposure to real-world projects across a range of disciplines, helping you develop your skills and understanding while completing your degree.
T Levels
T Level placements offer practical workplace experience alongside classroom learning. You will work with experienced professionals, build industry insight and explore potential career pathways in a supportive environment.

What to expect when you start
Your journey begins with a structured induction into life at OCU. Early careers cohorts attend a central induction event where you will meet peers, hear from senior leaders including our CEO, and learn about the business and our culture.
Following this, you will complete a local induction with your team and manager. You will be supported by a mentor and buddy, with regular check-ins from our learning and development team as you settle into your role.
